January 30: Study and Meditations On This Sundays Readings

To help us prepare for this coming Sunday, here are the readings, studies and reflections for this coming Sunday's Scripture readings. This Sunday is the 4th Sunday in Ordinary Time, Cycle A.  This Sundays Gospel Reading begins a series of Sunday in which we will hear from Jesus' Sermon on the Mount.

January 9, 2011: Study and Meditations on this Sunday's Scripture Readings

To help us prepare for this coming Sunday, here are the readings, studies and reflections for this coming Sunday's Scripture readings. This Sunday is the Feast of the Baptism of the Lord. It is considered both the end of the Christmas season and the 1st Sunday of the liturgical season of Ordinary Time. At the Baptism, Jesus begins his public ministry as he is anointed king, priest and prophet--the Messiah.
